RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java Developer in Minneapolis, MN.

Summary:The Java Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The Java Developer takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to company standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. As a member of a team supporting Financial Crime Compliance KYC (Know Your Customer) program, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the product used by Compliance teams. We are looking for a skilled Engineer who, along with teammates, Product Managers, Scrum Master will help deliver timely product updates to keep up with ever changing needs of KYC compliance.

Essential Responsibilities: Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating, and maintaining products Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; Considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Three to five years of relevant experience Knowledge of authorizing tools and human interface Must be experienced with performance aspects of application development Knowledge of DBMSs, development methodology, standards, design tools and specification representation MCP +internet or other certifications like Win 95/98/NT/Unix, JavaScript, VB Script, PERL, XML, HTML, SQL Server, Oracle, Progress, MS Front Page, Cold Fusion, Visual Interdev, ActiveX, and Java Applets, ISAPI/NSAPI or MS IIS Knowledge of web design principles and standards, firewall and network security and Internet database connectivity

Preferred Skills/Experience: Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, plugins Working knowledge of Oracle database (SQL and PL/SQL), Windows, Linux, shell scripting, Autosys Experience developing Unit Tests (including automation and integration with CI systems - Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Maven, etc.) VTL, Actimize RCM designer and development, Actimize tech stack Experience working in a DevOps environment (Git/GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines)
