Full Stack Developer IV

Location: Minneapolis, MNDuration: 8 months

Tell us about your department:Omni Channel operations – Digital Communication Platform, Services, Support Digital & Technology team.Our D&T team will develop and manage various applications used by (sales, care, services) Contact Center, in-home advisor, store care agents to serve customers via omni channels - voice, chat, video, email, social media.Various Applications include case management, contract management, fund management, purchase history, membership rewards management, sales & order management.

Project Description:
  • Migrating web API layer written in .NET framework, C#, Entity Framework using SQL Server to Nodejs microservices connecting to cockroach DB or on-premise SQL server
  • Breaking on-premise monolithic application into small applications (micro front ends, microservices, distributed database) in AWS cloud

    • 10+ years of Full Stack Experience
    • Extensive working experience with Node JS & other JavaScript Framework
    • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure; AWS / OpenStack
    • Working Experience in designing and developing Microservices
    • Working experience with React JS and other UI technologies
    • Solid technical communication skills with business partners and other engineer teams
    • Experience in understanding different integration patterns and their usage during testing
    • Experience with modern web technologies and NoSQL

    Responsibilities
    • You will be part of the Best Buy engineering team responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that will reach massive scale.
    • Contribute to the architecture and development of the digital platform and tools to support key employee facing applications serving customer and cloud technology initiatives.
    • You will build and enhance core tools that are needed to support development, testing and integrations leading to Continuous Delivery.
    • Use your creative and innovation-driven mindset to articulate engineering design strategies related to scale, performance, security, and usability.
    • Use modern web development tools and technologies: Node.js, ECMAScript 6, React

    Technical Skills:
    • Node JS

    • Databases: SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, MySQL
