The Application Development team has recently decided to implement the SAFe 5.0 methodology in order to scale existing agile practices at the enterprise level. In order to be successful in this implementation, it has been determined that a SAFe consultant will need to be engaged to augment our existing team.

Required qualifications/necessary skills for SAFe consultant position:

• Assist in designing a SAFe implementation for Application Development
• Assist other Agile Coaches in developing an enterprise transformation plan
• Assist in launching and facilitating an Agile Release Train (ART)
• Assist in extending the Lean-Agile portfolio by launching additional ARTs
• Assist an organization with change management practices
• Assist in training and coaching an enterprise through a SAFe transformation
• Enable alignment of Customer, Leadership, and Teams.
• Lead the rollout of Program Increments.
• Design and implement continuous improvement processes for delivery.

Desired skills:

• Familiarity with higher education
• Release Train Engineer and/or Agile Coach experience
• Product Owner experience
• Capability owner experience
• Scrum Master experience
