This individual will be responsible for leading the digital function for Anthem GBD (Government Business Divisions) Medicare, connecting the needs of stakeholders (customers, business partners, technology enablers) and generating a digital solutions strategy to move Anthem to the next level. Accountable for providing vision and direction to a team of associates who construct the solutions based on that strategy and vision. Collaborates with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization to evangelize the vision and orchestrate execution and delivery.This is an amazing opportunity for a forward-looking marketer to help lead Medicare digital for a premier healthcare brand, and be responsible for improving the health and well-being of millions of Americans.Primary duties may include:

Defining the digital strategic vision and roadmap and priorities and ensures team and vendors are aligned with vision and strategy.

Acting as the GBD Marketing product owner for the solution; understands product, business, and competitive landscape.

Communicating strategy and roadmap to business partners and coordinates work with functional areas across the business.

Coordinating across Marketing with other consumer journey phases to ensure continuity of experience.

Establishing/documenting clear and specific priorities (Blue Chips) and marketing’s measures of success.

Identifying and resolving strategic issues that may impair the ability of their direct reports to meet goals. Qualifications Medicare and/or Medicaid experience preferred.

Experience in developing/leading digital campaigns (preferably using the Adobe Experience Cloud).

Demonstrated ability in strategic leadership, creative leadership, operational/organizational leadership, while working across the matrix and effectively leading a team.

Building cohesive digital acquisition and member engagement strategies.

Experience delivering effective solutions and delivering business value.

Ability to develop strong cross-functional and P&L relationships using a collaborative approach.

Develops and implements metrics to report and monitor progress against goals and implements changes to effect improvement, and/or reacts to a change in the organization or industry.

Researches and evaluates trends related to membership growth and satisfaction patterns.

Develops and recommends department operating budgets; reviews and revises financial reports, and prepares departmental statistics.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and presentation abilities required.

Excellent managerial and change-management leadership skills required.

Hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and evaluation of direct reports.

BA/BS degree in related digital solutions field, MBA, or equivalent preferred.

10+ years of experience with digital product management with digital assets, 5+ years of management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
