You will devise the concepts and strategies for content and will monitor its progress. The goal is to achieve the best possible outcome of our projects both visually and essentially to meet customer expectations and drive our sustainable growth.You can grow your career with us; we hope youll consider joining our team!A Day in the LifeConceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completionCollaborate with partners across Medtronic to obtain knowledge of the clients requirementsDirect and motivate creative producers and strategists to help them use their talents effectivelyLead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideasRevise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the teamTrain and guide accomplished professionalsMonitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future skillsDiagnose, strategize and problem-solve on how teams can design effective creative content across digital platformsImplement creative strategy to build content and assets as part of a full multi-channel campaign (e.g., video and motion graphics, content for landing pages, digital and print ads, social content, layout, photography and illustrations, etc.).Work with content/creative team and others to understand business requirements and recommend design and creative content solutions to engage audiences in new waysPlan steps for the successful ideation and implementation of the creative ideaDevelop thematic pre-design ideas and storyboards grounded in insights; articulate and communication art direction rationaleReduce overall creative/design strategy to algin to a few core narrativesnarrowing in on human need and behaviorMust HavesBachelors Degree and 5+ years of Creative experience creating and managing content or advanced degree and 3+ years of experienceNice to HaveThorough knowledge of and experience with the Adobe Creative SuiteAdvanced Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere Pro and other design toolsExperience with 2d/3d animation and modelingStrong skills in design, layout, typography, and color theoryEffective file management and project management skillsKnowledge and experience creating assets for digital online platforms, including mobileExperience and ability to follow brand style guidelines with an innovation mindsetExperience working with vendors, both internal/externalComfortable taking a leadership role with clients and design staff, as needed, on a project-to-project basisComfortable taking direction feedback from multiple contributors and implementing it with a deadlineComfortable collaborating with internal and external parties in an effort to get deliverables across the finish lineComfortable helping to define the direction for new processes, standards and operational plans based on business strategiesExemplary interpersonal and analytical abilitiesOutstanding leadership and organization skillsProven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative roleHand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand developmentAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
