Apex Systems is looking for Quality Assurance Specialists in the Eagan, MN area!

For immediate consideration please send an updated copy of your resume to Megan at with "Quality Assurance Specialist Eagan, MN" in the subject line Overall Job Summary The associate is responsible for ensuring compliance for in-coming goods and finished products for final release and for internal processes associated with the Quality System and quality assurance as part of regulatory compliance requirements as governed by the client Quality System Procedures. This position provides support to the Manager, Quality Assurance for internal process improvement. Responsibilities
  • Inspection of in-coming and finished products.
  • File and retrieve QA documents
  • Follow GMP and champion practice for the site.
  • Initiate non-conformance reports
  • Red-line Work Instructions and designs
  • Provide support to engineers for setting up inspection criteria for new parts and aiding in First Article Inspection.
  • Work with micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Support Audits as necessary
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate degree or two years vocational school. Accept H.S. diploma with quality assurance experience.
  • Quality assurance experience with up to two years' experience preferably with soldering inspection experience through IPC-A610.
  • Experience in a medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read blue prints and use inspection instruments.
  • Communication Skills (Verbal/Written): Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Management/Leadership Skills: Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Customer Service: Ability to communicate defects to the suppliers.
