Accounts Payable, Billing I

Description There is an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk job opening for someone who is self-starting and detail-oriented. This is a long-term contract / temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Eagan, Minnesota area. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be entering, posting, and reconciling batches, as well as researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. If you're looking for career growth potential, and are capable of processing 200+ invoices per week, this is the job for you!How you will make an impactExecute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks

Compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports and take care of payments in compliance with GAAP

Review status of delinquent accounts daily and initiate collection action by contacting customers

Corroborate documents and codes

Balance bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in a number of different ledgers

Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders

Communicate, reinforce, and support the values, culture, and mission of the organization Requirements

Solid understanding of navigating basic office equipment and protocols

Established analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills

Strong attention to detail

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

Skilled with ERP systems
