Are you an experienced

Senior level Electrical Engineer looking for your next challenge? Look no further! My client is a global contract manufacturer of complex electromechanical services across the entire product lifecycle. The industries they serve include: commercial aerospace, defense, advanced computing, next generation telecommunications, complex industrials, medical, and semiconductor capital equipment.

This position will be focused specifically on their medical device offerings.

Summary:

Responsible for the coordination and technical leadership of electronic hardware strategies and the electrical design and development of customer products,

such as medical devices including therapeutic & diagnostic tools.

Job responsibilities:

• Work within IEC 60601 and ISO13485 standards, and have working knowledge of them
• Digitial design, microprocessor and microcontroller design, work within embedded software, RF design, and knowledge of EMC/EMI electrostatic discharge
• Work cross-functionally with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and board designers

Basic qualifications:

• Previous experience as a level II, III or staff electrical engineer at a medical device manufacturer
• 8+ years of experience with a Master's degree in related field
• 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in related field

Nice-to-Haves:

• Knowledge of orCAD or Altium for schematic capture
• Knowledge of Cadence Allegro and/or Altium Designer for PCB layout
• Have worked for another contract manufacturer or large medical device OEM
