Food Service Worker -Baker

Job Description

Senior Services of Southwest Michigan is seeking to fill a full-time Food Service Worker – Baker. The incumbent will be responsible for opening the bakery area beginning at 5 a.m. They will be baking fresh rolls, bread, pastries and other baked goods.

Qualifications

• One-year baking experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow recipes with the creativity to craft new pastries
• Ability to lift and push loads up to 60 pounds, stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, and reach
• Ability to perform simple math functions, including counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing,
• ·Must have teamwork and service attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing work environment meeting strict deadlines
• Candidate must also have ability to pass food management certification class and receive certification. Additional Information
