Job Description

You will:

  • Create and evolve the total reward strategy to ensure that it is competitive in the external market and attracts and retains talent in the digital world.
  • Lead Transformation and Change in the Reward area across the Americas and partner with business and HR leaders on implementation of the Global Reward agenda across the Americas.
  • Lead the thinking on creative reward opportunities to motivate and engage employees throughout their career and reflect the changing requirements of the business.
  • Promote clear reward design and communication as part of overall employee communication and value proposition – with focus on variable rewards program and sales compensation plan.
  • Create appropriate reward governance throughout the region and in consideration of global requirements.
  • Use reward and performance data to drive reward choices and monitor important reward and engagement trends to promote an evidence-based approach to reward decisions for our leadership and non-leadership populations.
  • Lead a direct small team of reward professionals and influence indirect teams to ensure increased reward capability and succession planning.
  • Use our external reward partners to ensure the provision of employee benefits attract and retain talent for leadership and non-leadership populations.
  • Guide the understanding and harmonization of employment agreements across the US.
  • Provide reporting and targeted inclusive actions owned by business leaders to address gender and ethnicity Pay Gap ensuring Dentsu has an inclusive culture.
  • Champion the use of DAN job levels and career framework across the Americas Region.
  • Lead monthly Americas Compensation Committee meetings – driving the agenda, bringing finance, HR and Global Rewards together to address opportunities and identify changes for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

You have:

  • 10+ years of reward and related HR experience
  • Deep financial, business and M&A experience
  • Experience with executive reward and governance
  • Understanding of commercial strategy and ability to shape reward strategies that result in measurable solutions
  • Knowledge of benchmark and evaluation methods
  • Strategy design and implementation experience
  • Experience working with Senior Business and HR Leaders in a matrixed, diverse multinational environment
  • Project management skills (setting direction, maintaining disciplines and focus, managing consultants and team members)
  • Experience leading large-scale change projects e.g. M&A, integration or major restructuring
