- Do research such as interviewing customers and stakeholders to determine requirements and creating business, functional and technical specifications
- Analyze and organize gathered information to understand, communicate and help implement requirements
- Provide coordination between customers, business stakeholders, experience design and the technology team before, during and after projects
- Facilitate a consistent and organized flow of information during projects
- Coordinate the integration of experience design process throughout the stages of the product owner and development process
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing business, functional and technical specifications
- Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
- Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved processes
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Validate resource requirements and support developing development effort and cost models
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group
- Be involved supporting Experience Design process and Customer Experience integration into product development
- Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
- Plan and coordinate the development of market research and customer engagement in support of strategic product planning initiatives
- Perform reviews and analyses of product platforms using operational metrics and reports
- Understand and communicate the impacts of proposed product and technology changes
- Suggest changes to leadership using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
- Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
- Facilitating day-to-day coordination while adhering to standards and stakeholder expectations
- Collaborate with and guide designers, developers, QA testers and other stakeholders to deliver quality products on time and on budget
- Strong background in technology space and prior hands-on technical background
- Background working with management, product owners and executive stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must; negotiating skills are an essential skill
- Understanding of technical specifications and must be able to communicate in “business” and “technical” to bridge the gap
- Have an understanding of SQL to create queries to analyze and work with data
- Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational; strong collaborator and team player
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- Ability to convey requirements via use cases, workflows, prototypes, and/or user interface mockups
- Team leadership experience
- Experienced project management background (PMP Certification a bonus)
- Experienced in Agile (SCRUM) processes (CSM / A-CSM Certification a bonus)
- Knowledge of Agile Product Owner processes (CSPO / A-CSPO Certification a bonus)
