To meet new and exciting challenges in a fast-growing and dynamic environment, an opportunity has arisen for a Price Manager to join our Shelter Global Price Management team in either Midland, MI or Wilmington, DE.The Performance Building Solutions (PBS) Pricing Manager will be responsible for strategic and tactical pricing execution in alignment of our NA market participation strategies for Residential, Commercial, and Specialty Construction markets in PBS with emphasis on regional Sales Manager initiatives. The construction market is highly transactional due to daily job/bid pricing dynamics as well as regional & market variations in pricing. The Pricing Manager is aligned to the regional sales/business goals supporting the optimal price/volume ratio to maximize gross margin return for PBS. The Pricing Manager works directly with the local sales teams to analyze, develop, and execute pricing. The pricing aspect for the PBS business is one of the critical success elements responsible for end of year performance results. We are seeking a results oriented individual who will work successfully with the commercial team in a downstream customer-facing business.THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

Execute pricing strategy and analysis for the business

Accountable for having a holistic view of pricing activities across the business to ensure consistent pricing execution within and across customer segments

Conduct detailed pricing analysis of customer, sales, and route to market data to identify trends and make recommendations to sales and marketing

Documents rationale for pricing decisions, changes, and opportunity for consistency

Responsible for approving all regional customer pricing decisions including commercial project pricing management in the pricing database

Manage the timely execution of customer specific price and discount changes

Understand market dynamics

Research and resolve price and payment discrepancies

Review, analyze and approve pricing programs

Support the business with speed and results

Build strong collaborative relationships with the following key peers: Regional Sales Leaders, Product Managers, Marketing, and Finance. Use these interactions for pricing decision making and consultation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

BS Degree required

5 years of prior work experience in one of the fields: pricing, finance, marketing & sales, product management, price analytics

Strong analytical skills

Advanced MS Excel, Power BI,

Experience working in Salesforce and SAP

Experience working in matrix organization with demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize key priorities to meet deadlines.

Ability to convey information with clarity and directness

Ability to deliver on complex situations or problems
