Video Editor / Videographer / General Assistant (Portland)

Position Details:

I am a full-time content creator who primarily makes woodworking/DIY/home improvement YouTube videos and am looking for an assistant to help with a variety of tasks. My channel name is Third Coast Craftsman. Primary tasks will include video editing, filming, posting pictures to Instagram, and managing content on there. I also need someone experienced working with tools and building things, and willing to help with many other daily tasks.

This is a part time position that will start out at $14 per hour (with bonuses) and around 25 hours per week, but those hours and pay definitely have potential to go up. I am flexible with schedules and editing work can be done from home. All onsite work will be in Portland MI. There aren't any benefits and employee will be working as a contractor and receive a 1099 tax form.

This really is a very unique and fun job. I have a lot of fun with the people I work with and we do a lot of really cool projects and videos.

Position requirements:

Must be skilled at editing video using Adobe Premier Pro. (please send examples of videos you have edited)

Must have reliable computer to edit video from home.

Must have some skill/experience with lighting and video/DSLR camera operation. (I have all the required equipment and will train on how to use my equipment).

Social media experience.

Experience using tools and building things highly desired.

Reliable transportation.

Organizational skills.

Computer skills.
