Join a mission with a company behind it.What You’ll Be Doing:The purpose of Software Engineer position is to develop, maintain and support existing Aldera software products. This position requires a strongly motivated self-starter with a strong aptitude for learning in-depth Healthcare business rules and functions, and the ability to resolve issues on both interpersonal and technical levels. Additionally, this position requires the ability to work in an open and honest environment where mistakes or issues are never hidden.The Experience You’ll Need (Required):Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field/work experienceAbility to work both independently, and as part of a team of technical and non-technical colleagues2+ years of overall software and application development or 3+ years of in-depth software and application support experienceStrong technical abilities with advanced data and database manipulation skillsExperience operating, monitoring, and maintaining software / applications in productionExperience in Microsoft .NET Technologies – specifically .NET Core C#, T-SQLGood understanding of MVC, MVVM, Onion architecture, and S.O.L.I.D. principlesExperience with microservices oriented development and methodologiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be detailed oriented, data-centric and possess a desire to deliver high quality productsGreat debugging skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a highly collaborative environment with other developers onshore and offshoreAbility to simultaneously manage multiple and shifting prioritiesStrong attention to detailFinishing Touches (Preferred):Experience using GitHub or other Git based source control systems.Experience in configuring and using PaaS offerings (like App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Service Bus, Azure Config, etc.)Understanding ANSI X12, HL7, and other data formatsExperience in software development for large, distributed, and high production impact systems.Front end Development using modern technologies - specifically REACT or another SPA FrameworkHealthcare IT experience.Experience in Agile Scrum/Kanban environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills.Self-Starter: Willingness to learn new tools and skills and tackle new challenges.Technical requirements:During the current pandemic Evolent employees are working remotely from home.
