Our client is in immediate need for a talented

“Senior Unix Cloud Engineer”; with experience in the

IT Industry. This is a

12 Months contract opportunity with possible extension and is located in

“Lansing, MI”. Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

This requirement is open for Remote work till offices are closed due to COVID Situation

Must have minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience

Technical Skills:

Advanced trouble shooting of Linux and AIX operating systems and hardware including on multiple architectures.
Cloud systems engineering and deployments experience needed (TerraForm, Azure or AWS).
Extensive knowledge and experience with hypervisors and virtualization, such as KVM, PowerVM, and PowerKVM and HMC
Hands on knowledge Kubernetes, Docker, Container, kafka, Prometheus, splunk , ELK .
Understanding and experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with SAN Storage and Backup administration is a plus.
Project management experience including driving projects involving multiple technical and business teams.
Advanced knowledge of multiple scripting languages: Perl, KSH, Ansible ,python optional
Experience performing extensive scripting work for automation tasks.
