Process Server (Jackson County area)

We are the Michigan’s largest legal support agency, providing service of process and related services to many of the States most notable law firms, financial institutions and insurance companies. We are seeking process servers to serve legal documents in Jackson County area Candidates must have great communication skills and understand what it takes to be effective in properly serving defendants, speaking with neighbors and obtaining vehicle descriptions are required. This is an Independent Process Server position and your services will be required on a full-time basis.

Candidate must be available to make service attempts at different times of the day and on weekends if needed. Reliability, integrity, and attention to detail is a must. No experience necessary. Training provided. Retirees welcome.

All applicants must meet the following requirements for consideration:

Must be 18 years or older

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Functional computer with printer, scanner capability, Internet service, digital camera, GPS navigation, and smart phone (I Phone or Android).

Experience in process of service, law enforcement, security, or private investigation is a plus.

The compensation is $15.00 - $35.00 per successful service. Average number of completed services is dependent on your drive and initiative

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You are responsible for your own expenses, you must provide your own reliable transportation, and you are responsible for reporting your income to the IRS.
