RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a MS SQL Server DBA in Grand Rapids, MI.

Summary:The MS SQL Server DBA is responsible for implementation and enhancement of vendor software and/or hardware package applications, providing overall business function knowledge to projects and support, incorporating scaled agile framework. This position collaborates with vendors, company customers, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to understand customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies/vendor packages, and present solutions.

REQUIREMENTS: Four-year degree in Information Technology or a related field 2-5 years of working experience in Database Administration both on premises and in the cloud Strong knowledge of database administration; Experience in MSSQL Server Experience with database environments consisting of test, development, QA, and production environments in single or multi-tiered deployments Strong operating system experience for Linux and Windows Must have strong oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused, to understand and appropriately respond to customers business needs Microsoft Certification is a plus Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment preferred
