Description Robert Half is working with a large established organization in the non-manufacturing industry looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting. This is a newly created position to add support for senior leadership and is a high priority search. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must be confident in their ability to perform the following responsibilities:Job Responsibilities Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting related to cash and investment activities in accordance with applicable professional standards and legal statutes Ensure accounting and financial reporting activities related to cash and investments are performed in a timely and accurate manner Facilitate budget and forecasting activities related to cash and investments by leveraging cross-functional team expertise in operating, capital program delivery, financial services, and planning areas Support the Treasury Manager in the development of internal cash and investment meeting agendas and materials to support sound decision making Respond to cash and investment-related inquiries from other finance and organization-wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like Active leader in the collaborative development and implementation of new technology and procedures related to cash and investment activities Present reports and analysis related to cash and investment activities to internal and external stakeholders Support, mentor, and develop team members Perform related work duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in treasury, accounting, or cash management experience with at least three years managerial experience A working knowledge of US GAAP Proficiency in Excel High aptitude for accounting systemsPREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Accreditation such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Treasury Analyst (CTA) or a Master’s in Business Administration Experience using concepts from the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Experience in banking, cash forecasting, cash, and liquidity managementRequirements Bachelor's degree or higher, CPA preferred, and experience in Financial Reporting, Cash Management, Forecasting, and supervising a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
