- Review & understand the requirements provided by the customer, clarifying unclear or conflicting requirements
- Develop System Requirements
- Develop System Architectural Design, including system boundary diagram, interfaces, constraints and dynamic behaviors
- Support design teams in developing interface specifications
- Support System and Software Test teams in developing / reviewing Test Cases / Sequences and in interpreting test failures
- Participate in review activities
- Ensure a solid interface with the customers
- Capture all requirements of the customers and achieve an accurate requirement analysis.
- Involve in Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis; failure analysis; root cause analysis; and Design Validation Plan and Reporting (DVP&R).
- Developing complex systems and components that incorporate electrical, software and mechanical components to meet customer structural, packaging and performance requirements
- Participate in planning and developing test set-ups for testing and validation
- Interact with customers to assure product performs appropriately in the vehicle application
- Participate in cross functional teams throughout the product development cycle
- Oversight of development projects related to customer concerns and cost reductions
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer
- Experience with Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Design
- Manage tasks to schedule independently
- Create work products to expected quality independently
