- Work with management to document and improve the current software development process
- Create, maintain, and improve tools for embedded software development
- Support software build and test environments
- Develop and maintain Global Software Process materials including process documents, training materials, and work aids or instructions
- Provide support and software process training to the larger team
- Lead cross-functional software process improvement team to incorporate lessons learned, new industry standards and best practices, and improved methodologies
- Support and develop automation tools and scripts to improve software development efficiency and traceability
- Work with the IT team to ensure tools and scripts meet IT standards
- Support policies that ensure software development adheres to released process
- Identify and develop tools and processes for extracting useful metrics such as quality and productivity from the current development process
- Support internal and external process audits
- Bachelor Degree in relevant engineering field
- 5+ years in automotive embedded software and software process development
- Strong Understanding of Aspice and the software development Process
- Experience with Agile and Traditional Software development processes
- Experience with AUTOSAR architecture and configuration tools
- Experience with IBM Rational tools (RTC, DNG, RQM)
- Experience documenting and managing processes in Method Park Stages
- Experience with C / C programming language
- Experience with model based development and auto-code generation of embedded software using Simulink/Stateflow and Embedded Coder
- Experience writing scripts in languages such as Python and Perl
- Familiarity with ISO26262
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the year
