STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING!

Title: Customer Support Specialist

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 6-12+ months

Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement

Engagement Description
  • Using the Helpdesk phone system, provides first point of contact and day-to-day technical support.
  • Responds to Level 1 support and may support Level 2 requests.
  • Obtains and evaluates all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.
  • Enters call data into the tracking system.
  • Provides user access service.
  • Diagnoses problems by evaluating multiple options.
  • Communicates and coordinates with internal departments.
  • Escalates problems to Level 3 when appropriate.
  • Follows up on customer interactions.
  • Documents problem status and resolution in tracking log.

Top 3 Required Skills
  • Can clearly communicate resolution to inquiries verbally/phone and written related to ANSI HIPAA Electronic Transactions.
  • Is analytical with working knowledge of the electronic data interchange (electronic claims and electronic remittance EDI ANSI transactions).
  • Able to navigate multiple tools and phone while talking with a customer.

Required Skills/Experience
  • Is analytical with working knowledge of the electronic claims and electronic remittance EDI ANSI transactions with the ability to provide analysis of them and communicate resolution to inquiries verbally/phone and written.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team understanding the necessity of attention to detail and ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
  • Understands the function of a clearinghouse and the electronic data interchange process.
  • Has knowledge of processing systems; such as NASCO/ MOS, Medicare Advantage, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial payers, etc.
  • Has working knowledge of EDDI, User Interface, EOS, TSO, PORTICO/Cross Walk, Web Denis, NCOMPASS; is detail oriented & able to work at a fast pace.
  • Able to communicate clearly with customers via telephone and written.

Education/Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Three (3) year of relevant technical or business work experience.
