Job Details

We're seeking a proactive backend developer who can also wear a devops hat when necessary. There's a lot for us to build and we need someone with a broad skill set who can jump right in to help us lay the technical foundation for the company's future.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:Design & implement new features and endpoints in backend APIsDesign & implement schema changes to support these new featuresMake basic AWS infrastructure changes via terraform (DNS, ECS, EC2, etc)

Must Haves:Must have led the design and implementation of multiple software deliverables in an agile environment5 years of object oriented software engineering experience3 years C# experience3 years experience developing REST APIs3 years experience with SQL-based databases, postgres a plusMust understand how to design a schema that will result in a performant application (example: when to add an index, and to which fields)Ability to participate in a Git-based development environment with standard work management tooling

Nice to Haves:ASP.NET Web API development experienceFamiliarity with basic ORM concepts (such as in Dapper)Familiarity with FluentMigratorDevops ExperienceTerraform experienceUnderstanding of how DNS works, route53 knowledge is a plusDocker experience with multiple containersAWS Elastic Container Service (ECS)Understanding of and experience with cloud-based load balancers

Education:
