Material Handlers & Assemblers

Kelly Services is currently hiring Material Handlers and Assemblers for a premier partner in Holliston, MA.

Job Duties

Material Handler:

Safely and efficiently handle all materials that are received from the fabrication department.

Assemble, hoist, and lift material on to the conveyor line.

Remove materials from conveyor lines, organize them and deliver them to the next department.

Perform all activities with attention to quality and assist in ensuring an appropriate flow of material through the department.

Work in all areas of the department that involve material handling, wiping and preventative maintenance.

Perform basic assembly using pneumatic screw gun.

Gather screws and other parts, place housing on hoist and assembles.

Place, lift, or hoist different sized material on to the hooks on the conveyor line always keeping safety in mind.

Assembler:

Perform a variety of tasks as required to select, prepare, wrap, install, bulk pack or package materials for shipment.

Plan schedules for material being shipped to the customer.

Read and interpret work orders to determine which parts to pick and wrap, and determine how to prepare the material for shipment.

Pick parts from stock area.

Wrap and label parts (brown wrap, shrink wrap, etc.), place in cart and pack cabinets according to work order specification.

Pick and install partitions and other parts for cabinets according to written shop order specifications.

Complete necessary paperwork throughout the packing process.

Deliver completed product/package to shipping department using hand jacks and walkies.

Weigh product/package and record information.

Shift 1: Monday - Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm Pay: $15.00/hour

Shift 2: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm Pay: $16.00/hour

Current Incentives:

After completing 30 days, with good attendance and performance, you will receive a $250 bonus! After completing 90 days, with good attendance and performance, you will receive a $1000 bonus upon conversion to a permanent employee! In total, you could receive an extra $1250 for good attendance and performance!
