Tick & Mosquito Technician

One of the area’s fastest growing lawn care companies is looking for a motivated, quality-oriented, hard-working individual with a positive attitude to fill a Tick & Mosquito Technician position. We will train the right individual! No experience necessary plus room for growth and advancement for those willing to take the pesticide exam over the winter.

Daily Tasks Include:

Treating 10-15 homes per day

Maintaining customer relations by servicing and educating the client on lawn seeding

Calculating quantity of product to be used

Maintaining organized and clean truck and equipment

Driving some days in excess of 100 miles

Wowing the client with excellent communication and customer service

Requirements:

YOU NEED A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE

Excellent Communication Skills

High School Diploma (GED)

Must be goal oriented

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

PC skills a must

Some mechanical aptitude

Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50lbs

Must be able to navigate in unfamiliar areas of the state

Must be able to project a clean and professional image

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

Ability to work as a team player and independently

Problem Solving and Time Management Skills a Must

Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat and rain. (8-10 hours per day).

Ability to work Saturdays as needed
