Job Description
The Inventory Control Specialist will join Locus Robotics’ fast-growing operations team, helping us manage inventory for our assembly operation in Wilmington. This is an exciting, dynamic role for a someone looking to apply their inventory control and warehouse experience in the robotics industry.
Responsibilities:- Perform daily physical inventory cycle counts; verifying against perpetual stock in inventory and making appropriate adjustments as necessary.
- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure all received material is delivered from receiving area into appropriate bin location.
- Refill kit locations from bulk stock material as required; establish and maintain process for ensuring turns of oldest material first.
- Purge outdated material from warehouse; point person in MRB process for ensuring scrap disposition is executed.
- Maintain segregation of Refurb and Repair material from Production.
- Pick, kit, and deliver production material to floor as issued against Work Orders & based on build schedule.
- Develop and maintain regular reporting on inventory accuracy KPIs as requested by supervisor.
- Participate and assume point role in scheduled yearly inventory Audits.
- Assist in move of production line; point person in reorganization of raw material storage.
- Support Shipping and Receiving team as required for customer initiatives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in Inventory Clerk, Receiving, or other relevant Warehouse function.
- Experience operating Fork Truck and utilization of common warehouse equipment.
- Must thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Experience using ERP System (NetSuite a plus).
- Experience with Work Orders and within Electro-mechanical Manufacturing Environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, vertical lookup, pivot tables, etc).
- Strong candidates will have experience with and knowledge of key commodities such as Electro-mechanical components, PCBAs, Motors, Sheet-Metal, Plastics.
- Valid noncommercial drivers license required (Motor vehicle check will be completed prior to start date)
