Position: Site Support Engineer/Deskside Support Engineer Location: ONSITE and Remote support - Westford, MA Duration: 6 Months Interview: Phone+ Webex Job Summary:

  • Provide onsite and remote support for Windows, Mac OSX, iOS, and Android platforms
  • Manage Tier 1/2/3 support tickets and following proper escalation paths
  • Provide onsite and remote support for commonly used Windows, Mac, and phone software
  • Provide networking (WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi) and remote Access (VPN) support
  • Conference room and collaboration infrastructure support (WebEx)
  • Rack, network, power, and support for servers, switches, APs, UPS units and other equipment
  • Support printers and work with local printer vendors
  • Help manage office build out projects for IT equipment deployment, setup, and installation
  • Proactive PC Refresh
  • New Hire equipment preparation and conduct on-boarding
  • Asset administration and inventory maintenance: proactively manage assets / refurbish / dispose
  • Network Equipment Room (NER) ownership and tasks such as patching, device mounting, clean up etc.
  • Work with vendors for electrical and low voltage cabling work
  • Work as part of a project team to provide technical support and/or guidance
  • Satellite Offices, 3rd Party office onsite support (coordinate with 3rd party on IT related issues)
  • Continuously look for opportunities for improvement by investigating new technologies and methodologies
  • Procure and maintain IT inventory and supplies
  • Document processes and procedures
  • Periodic support visits to other field offices

  • Ability to assess, adapt, and overcome new challenges
  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with experience in a large corporate environment
  • Experience with Google Apps, security and anti-virus software (Ex. DUO, PGP, Bitlocker)
  • Ubuntu and Whitebox Linux OS support experience
  • Core infrastructure experience (Ex. DNS, DHCP, AD, VPN, VM, VDI)
  • Systems management software (Ex. SCCM)
  • PowerShell or other scripting and automation skills
