Architectural Staff Level 2 (Non-licensed or Licensed)

The Position

Valere is seeking (6 or more years' experience) licensed or non-licensed professional. Professional degree in Architecture, plus at least six years of related experience. Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client's needs. Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design and coordination of large complex projects. Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs. Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures. May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects. Experience with Revit is required. The applicant will work directly with firm principals in the cannabis industry measuring, designing, rendering, and detailing cultivation facilities, manufacturing facilities, and dispensaries in Massachusetts, Maine, New York, Connecticut and beyond. A licensure or a path to licensure is preferred, but not required.

The Details

The ideal applicant will be highly self-motivated and capable of working directly with the principals of the firm daily. Day to day responsibilities will include reviewing outstanding tasks, coordinating with the principals to delineate task priorities, drafting documentation in Revit from schematic plans to complete construction documentation under the supervision of firm principals, meeting client deadlines as they adjust throughout the day, producing renderings for projects in development, and measuring existing conditions. Additionally, this team member will attend client online and in-person meetings with the firm’s principals to ensure the Client’s project requirements & deadlines are met.

The Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited college or university.

6-9 years of experience in an architectural environment utilizing Revit to produce construction documentation and detailing.

The Salary & Benefits:

$34 - $43/hr+, commensurate with experience.

Quarterly bonuses based on Firm performance
