Job Description

We are looking for an analytically minded Digital Media Manager for Merkle’s New Stream Media Group to focus on media activation across Paid Social, Display, Video, Mobile, and Audio. This position has a focus on both Programmatic and Paid Social channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Help manage a team of digital media professionals responsible for activation of programmatic and paid social campaigns. This team member will also be responsible for their own set of campaigns. The team’s overall responsibilities include:
    • Coordination of campaign details, audiences, assets, tags, and URLs with internal / external teams
    • Set up and optimization of campaign in Google Ad Servers, DSPs and paid social platforms
    • Flawless execution, including on-time launch and full delivery against campaign KPI(s)
    • Proactive management of delivery, optimizing to ensure strong performance
    • Responsible for ongoing coordination and communication with internal/external teams on performance
    • Completing necessary wrap up reporting tasks, in partnership with analytics team members
  • Act as an escalation point on activation best practices, processes and tech issues
  • Proactively seek opportunities to create efficiencies in day to day role, sharing processes and procedures with team members
  • Provide ongoing support to junior level team members through one on ones/continuous feedback
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment; very strong organizational and communication skills are a must
  • Lead junior team members (1-3 specialists) in day-to-day executions; prior management/oversight experience required
  • This position reports to the Director, Media.


  • 4-5+ years of experience working in media agencies, media technology platform or a digital planning/buying role, includingplatform experience across ad serving (DCM, GAM, Criteo), DSP (DV360, TTD), and paid social (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest) technologies
  • CPG, Retail, or eComm experience is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in DV360, The Trade Desk, and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experience working in Salesforce a plus
  • Experience working on custom executions/ out of the box ideas with premium digital publishers
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • MUST love and be curious about data analytics, and how that affects the bottom line
  • Must be passionate about the technologies used to support digital and/or mobile advertising operations: ad serving, audience management tools, inventory applications, and third-party ad tags
  • Well versed in the Microsoft Office suite specifically, Excel and Power Point
  • Professional client communication, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pace environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, but also can work well in a team
  • Ability to proactively organize daily tasks
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Drive, ability to manage details, meticulousness
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to judge and quantify results of advertising
  • In-depth understanding of the digital marketplace and advanced targeting tactics, data management platforms and tag management solutions.
