Senior Internal IT Auditor

This includes protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe, and helping find cures for cancer.The RoleWe have an excellent opportunity for a Senior IT Auditor to join our Internal Audit team based in Waltham, MA!You will join a team of auditors and help ensure that we are in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act (“SOX”) requirements and own IT audits at various business units to ensure strong IT controls over financial systems are in place. You will evaluate and report on the design & effectiveness of IT controls and compliance with SOX requirements. You will supervise progress of remediation of deficiencies and provide advice on process improvements. You will participate in audit and compliance related activities with Internal Audit and our external auditors.Key Responsibilities:

Ensure SOX compliance by reviewing and testing controls for ERP's and supporting systems.

Work closely with control owners to ensure their control activities are appropriately designed and effective.

Assist with the management, development, and maintenance of documentation request lists in coordination with external auditors, and internal process/control owners.

Raise potential exceptions/deficiencies and help identify appropriate remedial actions

Collaborate and coordinate with external auditors for the scheduling of SOX reviews and sharing of audit results.

Experience:

Minimum of 3+ years working in a SOX supervised industry/organization - public accounting experience a plus.

3 + years of IT experience working with SDLC functions.

Experience in the IT audit of ERPs, databases, operating systems, and various supporting systems.

Understanding of corporate accounting and the finance function

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to develop a high level of credibility and forge proven and positive professional relationships with peers, management and outside parties.

Confirmed focus on exceeding goals/meeting expectations.

Analytical mind/skills and an in-depth understanding of IT compliance, including IT general controls, application/automated controls, and key reports.

Understanding of the role, structure, and functionality of major ERPs (SAP, E1, Oracle Financials) and systems such as OFM, Blackline, SFDC.
