Job Description

Application Service Desk specialist act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution.

account abilities Ownership and drive to bring all issues pertaining to specific clients to a closure Providing inputs to the team leads for the status update calls with the key stakeholders from the client side Troubleshoots low-to-moderate technical problems within acceptable service levels Strives to understand and leverages technical and incident communication structure Provide technical assistance via phone, email and WebEx to clients, across the globe for eProcurement tools Proactively communicate issue status in a timely way to the clients and the management. Take ownership of issues until they are successfully resolved. Ensuring the timely resolution to meet our Service Level Objectives (SLAs) Answering inbound calls of clients as per the SLA`s and ensure resolution on call – first fix Making outbound calls to clients if process demands so Ensuring complete documentation with the ticketing system for ease of reporting and follow up as per the process Document solutions in the form of knowledge base, Tech notes and Articles and help build a robust knowledge base which can be referred in the future. Efficiently and concisely document support calls/email support inquiries and resolution into the company’s tracking system, practicing ITIL concepts Understanding of Application Landscape

  • Prioritization of incidents and invoke Major Incident management process if required. Communicating major IT incidents to affected customers.

  • Assisting the client with L1 / L1.5 Support activities
