DescriptionSAIC is seeking a seasoned leader to serve as the Government Liaison and Strategic Program Execution Director at Hanscom AFB. The successful candidate will play a critical role in interfacing with U.S. government leaders to shape strategic initiatives and oversee program execution. This director-level position is central to enforcing SAIC's strategic objectives at Hanscom AFB, managing government relations, and driving a partnership with the University of Massachusetts Lowell to develop a talent pipeline that delivers highly skilled candidates to SAIC.Key Responsibilities:

Executive Leadership and Government Engagement:

Act as the senior SAIC executive representative for U.S. government officials at Hanscom AFB.

Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with military and civilian stakeholders to bolster program advancement and meet strategic goals.

Direct strategic guidance to SAIC's executive leadership reflecting the government's evolving needs, mission priorities, and industry dynamics.

Command SAIC's presence in high-level meetings, briefings, and government events, adeptly promoting our strategic interests.

Strategic Program Oversight and Delivery:

Lead the design, implementation, and realization of SAIC's programs at Hanscom AFB, aligning them with customer specifications and strategic objectives of the company.

Assess program metrics, managing risks, and leveraging opportunities with a proactive stance.

Enable cross-functional collaboration within SAIC to maintain program congruity and deliver operational excellence.

Strategic Talent Acquisition and Development:

Steer engagements with the University of Massachusetts Lowell to ensure a consistent and qualified stream of recruits.

Partner with educational bodies to tailor academic programs that meet the precise requirements of the industry, increasing the readiness and suitability of graduates.

Initiate and support cooperative programs, internships, and other ventures aimed at securing exceptional talent for SAIC.

Innovation and Thought Leadership:

Keep abreast of technological breakthroughs, policy modifications, and strategic movements within the defense sector to guide strategic planning.

Champion an ethos of innovation within the organization, motivating the development of inventive solutions to the multifaceted challenges presented by government clientele.

Work Location and Travel:

Work Location will be considered a hybrid remote role with a requirement for consistent on-site presence in the offices at Hanscom AFB.

May require occasional travel to different SAIC locations, government offices, and academic institutions.

QualificationsEducation and Experience

Minimum of eighteen (18) years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or sixteen (16) years of experience with a Master’s degree. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Demonstrable experience in a high-level leadership and strategic management capacity.

Extensive knowledge of Department of Defense operations and policies, bolstered by a minimum of ten (10) years of direct U.S. Air Force experience.

Proven track record in forging and maintaining strategic relationships at high levels of government.

Superior communication aptitude, with an established history of effectively articulating complex matters to a broad audience.

Experienced in program management principles, including adeptness in risk management, scheduling, and efficient resource allocation.

Proven collaboration with educational institutions and a commitment to advancing workforce development programs.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Active Secret Clearance Required.
