Assistant Manager (North Chatham)

Local coffee shop looking for Assistant Manager for spring, summer and fall (if available) to help manage busy café in Chatham. The assistant manager assists the store manager in running an already busy establishment to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The assistant manager assists the store manager with the goal of providing customers with excellent, quality products and fast, friendly service. This position enforces all procedures in the absence of the store manager and coordinates, as necessary, with the Deli Manager when needed. Manage the training of baristas and coffee staff and demonstrate positive, friendly and courteous customer service, as well as be able to demonstrate a commitment to our mission of the business.

Store Operations:

Assists store manager in managing all aspects of the café

Partners with the store manager in creating sales volume growth and creating a positive customer experience.

Ensures that the store has sufficient product, merchandise, and supplies needed to manage an efficient store.

Performs opening and closing duties.

Delegates duties, as necessary, to staff

Performs financial documentation and register readings during shift.

Ensures that the store, backroom, and equipment are maintained in a safe and clean manner.

Assists Deli Manager with weekly schedule
