About This Role :

The Researcher is a critical member of two practice areas at Forrester : healthcare and digital customer and collaboration.

The research teams create, publish, and deliver research and consulting services to help healthcare leaders as well as customer service leaders with their most critical initiatives.

The Researcher plays a key role for the team in delivering our research, client advisory, and consulting, as well as our team's events and coordination of internal resources.

Specific responsibilities include : 1) supporting team initiatives and processes, such as survey management, in-depth background and desk research, and social promotion and 2) working with analysts to produce high-quality reports, presentations, and client advisory across our playbooks and research reports.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and can manage own schedule, prioritize the needs of the team, perform quality survey data analyses, produce powerful presentations, and create coherent written arguments.

Candidates must display a strong interest in our research content development and support content delivery in partnership with an analyst.

Candidates must also demonstrate strong interest in topics such as machine learning, AI, advanced analytics, customer analytics, data management, customer insights, digital intelligence, data science, and other related areas.

Experience in research-based roles in these areas is extremely valuable.

Responsibilities

Assist and partner with analysts in conducting primary and secondary research, analyzing findings, and producing reports and presentations.

Design and conduct interviews and surveys to gain insight into the practices and priorities of senior executives in healthcare as well as customer service leaders.

Support end-to-end research production processes and work with internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality report. Participate in vendor briefings, client inquiries, webinars, and industry events to help the team stay on top of industry trends and best practices.

Help the research team interface with Forrester sales, marketing, and editorial teams.

Qualifications

A strong track record of academic achievement - a BA / BS degree at a minimum. A strong understanding of either the healthcare industry (knowledge of life sciences is a plus but not mandatory) or the customer service industry.

Familiarity with (and strong desire to learn more on) how technology is used in either of these industries to improve consumer (customer / patient / member) experiences and business models.

At least two years of work experience in the field of market research, consulting, product marketing, or journalism. Superior communication skills and an excellent command of the English language.

A track record in report writing. The ability to work with a team under tight deadlines and to handle multiple tasks. The ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed research team.

Someone who is analytical, articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
