Painting Residential - Interior/exterior

Job Description

We are a small painting company established in Amesbury MA. we work on interior and exterior painting. We have worked on average to multi-million-dollar properties. We are currently hiring experienced painters. We are looking for someone who enjoys painting and has knowledge of many aspects of the trade. If you have spraying experience, that is a plus; carpentry skills also a plus. Applicants must be neatly dressed, have a vehicle and valid drivers license, possess a cell phone. Safety is important to us, so if you are OSHA certified that too is a plus. We offer a competitive wage and pride ourselves in our quality of work (attention to detail) and knowledge of various products used in our trades. Qualified candidates are expected to travel anywhere from Amesbury to Marblehead MA and sometimes Southern NH and Maine. Responsibilities:

Prep areas before painting. Scrap, sand, caulk, skim coat, etc.

Paint, prime with brush or roller and spray and back roll or brush

Set up of staging and set ladders properly

Protect the client's property with drops or plastic

Use of masking supplies

Use of proper paints or stains for project

Work alongside others as a team

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience as a professional painter

Cut a straight line, know how to roll without whips or ropes

Ability to handle the physical workload of lifting 50 lbs over your head and the ability to single handily move 32 ft ladders

Able to work safely operate power sanders

Legal to work in the USA – proper ID - social security card and valid license or valid state ID

Neat in appearance

Positive attitude with good work ethics

Familiarity with all aspects of the trade and have own tools to perform the basic task of the job

Show up on time and ready to execute the day's task

Follow simple directions

Detail-oriented and good organizational skills

Able to work well with others

Self-motivated
