Principal Software Engineer Hiring a Software Engineering Leader who will be responsible for delivering programs in a dynamic, fast paced, scalable agile eCommerce environment. The team needs individual with deep online knowledge to guide and deliver a high-volume, highly personalized online experience. We are looking for the candidates who have a strong background in Enterprise/Systems/Application Architecture, with proven abilities to innovate and be creative. This role will lead a team of software engineers that has responsibility for delivering high velocity improvements to the premier online experience, and providing software engineering support for premier customer across the globe. We are looking for highly motivated, goal-oriented individuals who will be responsible for building highly visible, highly available, and customer facing solutions. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in eCommerce Domain and experience in large multi-national corporations. Candidates will be familiar with Microsoft technologies, and will have worked on very large web sites dealing with very high volumes. Responsibilities: •Involves in small to moderate budget projects; may perform in project leadership role and/or may supervise the activities of lower level personnel •Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems •Executes schedules, costs and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to successful conclusion •May assist in training, assigning and checking the work of less experienced developers •Performs estimation efforts on projects and tracks progress •Drafts and revises test plans and scripts with consideration to end-to-end system flows •Executes test scripts according to application requirements documentation •Logs defects, identifies course of action and performs preliminary root cause analysis •Analyzes and communicates test results to project team •Coordinates multiple testers and testing activities within a project •May act as a project test lead and provide direction to lower level testers •Retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved •Documents evolution of testing procedures for future replication •Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies Requirements: •Cloud skills such as Azure, AWS, etc. •Net MVC frameworks, C# •Web API (MS ASP.Net), C#, .Net Framework, .Net core. •Web Services such as REST, SOAP, MVC, Razor Views •Experience with SQL (MS SQL Server) and NoSQL Databases (Cassandra DB, MongoDB) •Experience working in building e-commerce web software or Enterprise Applications •REST Architecture •Service Registry •6-8+ years of total software / IT engineering / code development experience •Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of application programming processes and procedures to the completion of complex assignments •Competent to analyze diverse and complex problems •Competent to work in most phases of applications programming •Knowledge includes advanced work on standard applications programs including coding, testing and debugging Desired Requirements: •Pivotal Cloud Foundry •Advanced ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors •Advanced understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs •Demonstrates advanced understanding of intersystem dependencies around primary applications and multiple secondary applications •Ability to rapidly assimilate new information and develop diverse knowledge of system being tested •Working knowledge of automated testing tools and procedures •Diverse diagnostic and problem-solving skills •Knowledge of multiple applications
