Lead Software Engineer, Data Pipeline | Boston, MA | $140K - $170K

Our client, a fast growing publicly traded SaaS company, is growing their team in Downtown Boston. They're looking for a seasoned engineer to lead the team responsible for their Data Platform. You will work with the product team to map this out and have the opportunity for high impact and growth on some of their most critical systems.

Our technologies: Python, Postgres, Airflow, Docker, AWS (S3, EC2, RDS, EMR, Lambda, Redshift)

Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership & own technical direction of team
Take responsibility for our most critical infrastructure
Coordinate with business stakeholders and Machine Learning Engineers to define project roadmap.
Utilize the Python stack along with cloud and ML technologies
Lead a small team of engineers

Experience:

Experience working as tech lead or senior engineer
6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Scala, Go
Experience working with AWS Suite (S3, EMR, EC3, Redshift, Lambda, etc.)
Experience working with open-source workflow management platform (IE. Airflow)
Excellent communication skills
