Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney with 1-10 years of experience in family law to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Massachusetts and passionate about helping clients navigate complex family law matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to grow their career with the potential for bonuses based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, paternity, and domestic violence cases.
Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on family law developments in Massachusetts.
Participate in court hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.
Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm to provide comprehensive legal support.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Massachusetts.
1-10 years of experience in family law.
Strong knowledge of Massachusetts family law statutes and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently.
A commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality representation to clients.
Court experience preferred.
