Clear Flour Bakery is a small, family owned and operated bakery specializing in the authentic breads and pastries of Italy, France and Germany since 1982. Located on a neighborhood street in Brookline, it was the first bakery to introduce artisan bread baking to the Boston area. Our award-winning bread and pastry is made from scratch daily by a highly skilled staff committed to preserving the art and craft of traditional baking. We pride ourselves on providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service and connecting our community to real food and the people who make it. Who Are We Looking For? Retail/Counter Staff We are looking for full-time (40 hours/week) Retail/Counter Staff to serve customers in our small, but busy retail shop.Starting shifts are from 1pm-9pm, or 12pm-8pm, with the future possibility of mid-day shifts. Saturdays and Sundays are required.Counter staff are responsible for all retail customer service, shop inventory, displays and for maintaining a clean and organized retail space.Our ideal candidate is someone who loves good food and has a genuine interest in learning about our breads and pastries. This job is centered around providing excellent customer service, so you must enjoy talking with people for most of the day. This is a fast-paced position, and there is always lots to do in-between customers, so you must be able to stay on top of a running and evolving task list. We work in a small space, so keeping things clean and organized is very important.
