Director I Tech will be accountable for the 24/7 delivery of all technology Infrastructure services, including coordinating the design, installation, and connectivity of the voice/data network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of Beacon Health Options

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct and administrate a contingent of network and telecom technicians, and where necessary, conduct performance reviews and corrective action
  • Manage and ensure optimal operation of the telephony platform including IVR and call recording systems.
  • Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to make certain voice/data network capacity meets existing and future requirements
  • Administer LAN/WAN security
  • Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network/telephony hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, etc.
  • Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, network access control solutions, and intrusion detection systems
  • Ensures disaster recovery and business continuity plans are implemented, monitored, and updated on a recurring basis.
  • Directs multiple work functions/applications or major projects/programs with broad scope and strategic business impact.
  • Establishes business objectives and integrates operational plans.
  • Negotiates the resolution of intra-organizational issues in the balanced best interests of the business.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS

  • Overall 10+ years of experience working with enterprise voice/data infrastructure systems (Must have demonstrated experience managing infrastructure in large call center environments)
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in managing and overseeing enterprise level programs, which require extensive collaboration across various groups in a matrix organization (5+ years managing large IVR systems supporting thousands of users (within healthcare call centers a plus))
  • 10+ years of extensive design and architecture experience with a focus on infrastructure and automation
  • 10+ years of experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide telecomm (VoIP) and data networks including contact/call center systems, telephone/voicemail systems, data center and site switches, routers, firewalls, etc. Experience with Avaya and Cisco a strong plus.
