DescriptionWe are working with an amazing client that is part of a global integrated business enterprise that is looking to add a legal counsel to assist with their renewable energy business such as offshore wind projects, gas-fired generation projects, energy management, and other areas in energy and power. This client is seeking a candidate who has knowledge and experience with the rules and regulations of FERC, NERC, CFTC and ISO/RTOs and experience in commercial litigations and disputes among other things. This is a wonderful opportunity to work directly with the General Counsel and VP/Senior Counsel of this organization. Their office is located in the financial district in Boston, though they are remote at this time. The position comes with a great compensation package and unbelievable benefits! MA Bar License Experience negotiating and reviewing various agreements in the energy and power industry including renewable energy (especially offshore wind). Experience with EEI forms and ISDAs.PREFERRED: Knowledge and experience with the rules and regulations of FERC, NERC, CFTC and ISO/RTOs. Experience in commercial litigations and disputes. General knowledge in antitrust laws, anti-bribery laws and privacy laws Experience in employment law matters.
