Senior UX Designer

Description Robert Half is working with a client in the Boston, Massachusetts area who is seeking candidates for a User Experience (UX) Designer position that are able to start immediately. This is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity. As the User Experience (UX) designer, you will manage user research, the administering of interviews and surveys of diverse populations, and the translation of results into sitemaps, wireframes, and design prototypes. Additionally, you will create the overall functionality of the product and work tirelessly to make incremental improvements to deliver an exceptional user experience. Teaming with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

Teaming with other members of the digital marketing team on the creation of new initiatives

Producing tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframes

Running usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experience

Areas of focus may be content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experience

Assisting other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.)

Draw on results from user research and workflow analysis to develop captivating experiences for users of a product

Requirements - Skilled in graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite

Experience in prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin)

Well versed Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools)

Solid understanding of UX strategy

Strong familiarity with UX

UX/UI Design experience required

UI UX And Design experience preferred

Figma experience

Strong communication and social skills

A portfolio demonstrating UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work

5+ years of experience within the digital design/UX industry

Be detailed, flexible, and organized

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience
