If you join us, you’ll be part of a diverse, global organization with a strong reputation for exceptional work-life balance, flexible work options, outstanding international career opportunities, and a commitment to invest in your personal development.In 2022 we launched our new three-year strategy, Elevate Our Value which is designed to Accelerate our expert solutions, EXPAND our reach into new markets, and EVOLVE our core capabilities.Specifically, the EVOLVE pillar includes (1) enhancing central functions, including finance, marketing, communications and technology, (2) advancing environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and capabilities, and (2) engaging diverse talent to drive innovation and growth.The Global Branding & Communications department, which is responsible for driving brand awareness, protecting, and enhancing the company’s reputation, and fostering a culture of cross-collaboration, is looking for an experienced communicator to lead the internal communications for the EVOLVE pillar of the new three-year strategy.Reporting to Wolters Kluwer VP of Global Communications, this experienced leader will have the following responsibilities:Develop the overall internal communications strategy for EVOLVE that educates, engages, and informs employees involved with the program on important updates, developments, initiatives, and success stories Partner closely with the SVP of Enterprise Transformation Program Management, the executive sponsors and program managers for EVOLVE workstreams, HR, and the broader EVOLVE team to plan and execute effective and timely communications Assess stakeholder information needs that will result from change events resulting from the EVOLVE initiatives contribute to the development of the change management strategy Design and produce stakeholder-ready communication materials as required for executives, managers, and employees as part of the change management strategy Write clear, effective, and informative communications that tell a compelling story to internal stakeholder audiences at all levels on the progress being made with the Evolve initiatives Effectively use and optimize key channels for delivering messages and providing updates including Teams, Yammer, Email, executive presentations, and Connect (the company’s intranet). Using advanced data and analytics, measure and report on key performance indicators and targets achieved throughout the program; adjust communications strategy and deliverables as needed to achieve business objectives.ExperienceA bachelor’s degree (master’s degree would be a plus) in communications or journalism.

10 years of communications experience leading internal communications at a large, international company or agency.

Significant experience with transformation program or other complex change communications, including running workshops and communicating in an effective and timely manner.

Strong level of experience with organization design and theory.

Well-developed ability to craft communications for all levels of the organization, up to the C-suite.

Significant experience working with cross functional and business teams.

Superb writing, editing skills and storytelling skills.

Well organized and has exceptional project management skills.

The ability to multitask, is deadline driven, can work independently, is open to feedback and different ways of working, and excels at managing competing deadlines. Strong reputation for oversharing information with key internal stakeholders to foster an environment of collaboration.

High comfort level operating in an environment that requires getting started with limited information and evolving deliverables once more is available.

Exceptional experience in developing and executing on strategic internal communications plans.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (American) English, preferably native English.

Experience in working with tools like PoliteMail, SharePoint and Microsoft 360.

Thrives in a very fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly to respond to business needs.
