Why you'll love this job: The Operations Reporting Analyst is responsible for detailed reporting analytics to create data-driven insights to help advise and drive business decisions and strategies. The Reporting Analyst should be able to drive customer conversations using the acquired pertinent data while highlighting KBIs/critical metrics as well as potential data quality discrepancies from each data source. To be successful as an Operations Reporting Analyst, you should be able to generate useful deductions from raw information. An outstanding Reporting Analyst will continually build and modify reporting to meet the needs of our internal customers.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Accurately analyze and source metrics from various databases including, but not limited to, Salesforce.com and Snowflake
  • Create and supervise business reports that provide key insights, which might be utilized to advise and drive business decisions and strategies.
  • Help document and drive SSD/Solutions Self-Service Analytics support strategy
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, or ad-hoc operational reporting to SSD management including sales activity monitoring, pipeline reviews, etc.
  • Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve data discrepancies throughout
  • Support various groups, within SSD, in reaching their goals through analysis
  • Support development and creation of dashboards across SSD within Power BI and Salesforce.com
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • DTCC client base/financial services industry knowledge a plus
  • 3-5 years of Microsoft Excel, Access, & PowerPoint experience
  • Data Visualization, Modeling, and relational database SQL knowledge
  • Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
