RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst in Boston, MA.
Client Sizzle Environment: Fast paced/challenging environment Large global bank Diverse consultant/employee populationSummary:The Technology Financial Project Analyst will support the technology finance team with managing costs of projects, maintaining data in accrual/invoice model, responding to ad hoc requests, and completing data reconciliations. The candidate will need to have ability to analyze the results and report to team lead variances and outliers. Critical thinking and ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision is key to success.Responsibilities: Lead Financial Analyst will reconcile data from multiple source sets Develop Accrual and Invoice Model to track Expense Requests by project and load them into Project costing system Process change requests and document financial impacts Understanding of Technology Development capitalization policy Financial reporting and articulation of variances within projects Develops training on policies and procedures concerning controls and risk management Leads operating process and internal control improvement initiatives As a Lead Financial Analyst, you manage complex projects that involve working with businesses to improve controls to mitigate any deficiencies Reviews current policies and procedures to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement Through walkthroughs and testing, identifies possible internal control breakdowns and gaps and report them to managementREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field or equivalent work experience Technology Project Management (finance), Financial Planning and Analysis 5-10 years of experience Financial background, preferably in IT Able to manage expense request and project financials and project resources Ability to think analytically, work with minimal supervision, problem solve and collaborate with technology partners Excel/Access/Project Costing Tools/SAPNice-to-Have Skills/Background: Large company/enterprise level financial institution Bilingual in Spanish IT finance experienceKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
