Role- Product Manager (Asset Management)Location- Boston, MA (remote until covid)Skills Must HaveBusiness Analysis, Requirement Gathering and DocumentationData Analysis and MappingStrong SQL and Data Mining skills Scripting (Preferably - Python)Overall knowhow of working of an Asset Management company Skills Good to haveFunctional knowledge of benchmark and asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Commodity and flavors within)Visualization (Tableau, Power BI, any other)Writing complex SQL Statements or proceduresData normalization and cleansing Job Desc:Liaise with Benchmark and Performance business operations team to define and document functional requirements for Equity Benchmark Platform, with special focus on data controls.Collaborating with engineers to design and implement functional deliverables.Leverage functional knowledge to Identify controls for business to sign off on data quality of benchmark and performance data.Use Python /SQL (or any programming language) to build controls identified, create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the process behind data controls.Use visualization tools (such as Tableau/Power BI, etc) to present the drill down view to the operations team, as well as top level summary of controls for management reporting.Review data controls with the business team, identify root cause for potential breaks and work with the engineering team for disposition and fix.Recommend improvements and streamline data controls to minimize manual intervention for known issues.
