DESCRIPTION

Job summaryAmazon Detective makes it easy to analyze, investigate, and quickly identify the root cause of potential security issues or suspicious activities. Amazon Detective automatically collects log data from your AWS resources and uses machine learning, statistical analysis, and graph theory to build a linked set of data that enables you to easily conduct faster and more efficient security investigationsDo you want to design and build the next generation of big data security analysis? Systems that display isolated security findings or alerts are showing the tip of the iceberg. Our innovative, graph-based security analytics approach lets users see what's below the waterline.Analysts ask "I received this security alert - now what?" Our service combines security log data and threat detection events into a single view, providing graph visualizations and algorithms to answer analyst questions, triage, and investigate incidents.Analysts can use time series analytics to get insight into attacker tactics, and explore incident blast radius. These capabilities are powered by our distinctive security behavior graph - a materialized, pre-joined, aggregated view of activity over time. The UI is built with cutting edge technologies such as React, Redux, and libraries like D3. This is not a "fill in the forms" UI; it is visually expressive, intuitive and unique. A customer-delighting user experience is a central part of our offering, and innovative UI development is a substantial part of our mission as we continue to develop new features and expand our capabilities.

Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren't focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we're happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life-both in and outside of work. Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future. Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally.
