100% REMOTE We're looking for an enterprise-level Search Engineer/Developer to help create a document search platform for a large investment company. You should have strong setup, design, and development experience in Lucidworks or Elastic Search, along with Lucene and SOLR skills.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Requirements of the Search Engineer/Developer:
  • At least 5 years of experience in enterprise development
  • Desire to work on a fast-paced development team
  • Experience handling multiple tracks concurrently
  • Understanding of search system, components, and interfaces
  • Understanding of internals of SOLR physical and logical layout
  • Operational understanding and experience deploying and managing search at scale
  • Strong experience in SOLR query languages and writing complex queries with joins and aggregate with large amounts of data
  • Strong knowledge of promoting search results, facet searches, pivot facet, stats component, boost queries, filter queries, etc.
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing in search solution: Solr, Lucene, Lucidworks, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in Python/Java
  • Load balancing, integrating multi core searches
  • Expertise in tuning search results
