Principal Frontend Engineer - Start Up - $220k base

Description The Duties and Responsibilities of the Principal Frontend Engineer include: Design and develop new features for both the web and mobile application Build and administer distributed applications using AWS Develop frontend features primarily using React and JavaScript Collaborate with other developers when determining new features Work with the CTO to develop the processes and culture for the team Help hire and mentor more junior developers The ideal Principal Frontend Engineer has: BS in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of software engineering experience Previous experience building and administering distributed applications using a major cloud (AWS preferred) Preference for infrastructure as code Expert in JavaScript and React Proven experience leading teams and projects It's a plus if the candidate has: Experience developing and delivering software in a highly regulated environment Secure-by-design patterns and practice This growing start-up builds tools to help businesses understand their cash flow.
