National Property Management Company is seeking a professional and experienced Assistant Property Manager to help manage multiple affordable housing properties in the Lynn area.

The role of the Assistant Property Manager is to work alongside the Property Manager in overseeing the portfolio including, but not limited to:

Assist in the supervision of all administrative and maintenance functions relating to the property. Monitor work orders, maintain unit inspection files, oversee security deposit refunds and interest payment process and assist in the physical inspection process.

Process rental applications, maintain waiting list(s) and assist Property Manager regarding all aspects of unit turn-over, including move-in/move-out inspections, paperwork processing, etc.

Coordinate and implement the recertification process, including generating tenant notices, collecting third party verifications and conducting recertification interviews.

Assist in the supervision of on-site employees and in the implementation of all company and monitoring agency requirements pertaining to effective management of the property.

Work closely with the Property Manager to ensure that high standards regarding resident relations are being met. Participate in resident conferences and meetings as necessary.

Generate operating reports regarding occupancy/vacancy, delinquency, rent roll, etc. on a monthly basis or as requested by the Property Manager.

Maintain complete individual resident files in an organized fashion. Understand an adhere to all Fair Housing Laws.

Have a proficient knowledge of One Site software.

Assume responsibility of property supervisor and the Owner’s representative during the absence of the Property Manager.

Carry out all duties assigned by supervisor(s) in carrying out the day to day responsibilities of managing multi-family properties.

- Fluency in Spanish preferred

- High School Diploma/GED equivalent

- Experience in LIHTC & Section 8 a must

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

- RealPage/OneSite experience a plus

The right candidate will be someone who is honest, organized, able to multi-task and who works well with people, both co-workers and residents. Must have a positive attitude, ability to take directions from a Supervisor, and be a highly motivated individual. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
