Massachusetts, Billerica, 01821 Billerica USADescription We are in search of a Payroll Administrator to join our team in the High Tech - Pharm/Biotech industry, located in Billerica, Massachusetts. The selected individual will be tasked with managing payroll operations for our US workforce and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Administer bi-weekly payroll for US employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Collaborate with Human Resources and other departments to gather and validate payroll information, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes, and other employee payroll updates. Oversee and maintain payroll systems, ensuring data integrity, and implementing system upgrades and enhancements when necessary. Respond to inquiries from employees regarding deductions, calculations, and general payroll questions, providing clear and concise information. Conduct weekly audits of Payroll and year-end processes, under the guidance of the Payroll Manager. Review and validate employee timekeeping data, benefits, insurance, and garnishment orders, ensuring accuracy at all times. Produce ad hoc payroll reports as needed, providing valuable insights for decision-making. Utilize various accounting software systems to streamline payroll processes, including ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Crystal Reports. Administer 401k - RRSP Administration and various accounting functions. Perform auditing tasks and manage benefit functions to ensure smooth operations.
